CONVEYOR FLIGHTS
KCI, Incorporated is a major U.S. manufacturer and refurbisher of conveyor flights for the Fiberglass Insulation Industry.
Flighted conveyors move product through the Forming Section and Oven, allowing air to flow through the product to complete the forming and curing process. Conveyor flights have pre-engineered perforated hole patterns for air flow and heat transfer. Flights are adjusted up and down in the oven to determine the exact thickness and density of the fiberglass product being manufactured, from a range of .125" through 24" or larger.
All flight manufacturing, refurbishing and storage is done in a 58,000 square foot facility at the KCI complex. The KCI flight shop stores and manages spare flights, chain and sprockets for customers.
